I cannot say enough wonderful things about Amy Spock! I started working with Amy while living out of state and planning my move to the DFW area. My journey began with looking at existing homes, but ultimately led me to Aledo, where I found a builder I loved and decided to build my new home. From beginning to end, Amy was there for every step of the process. Even after I decided on a new build, she remained incredibly involved—reviewing contracts, negotiating on my behalf, communicating with the builder, helping me plan and navigate decisions, and making sure I always felt informed and represented. She was even there during my walkthrough, blue tape in hand, helping me catch the little things! Building a home can be overwhelming, and doing it from out of state adds an entirely different level of stress and uncertainty. Amy made the process so much easier. She truly knows her stuff, is incredibly responsive, and, most importantly, is an amazing advocate for her clients. Whenever I had a concern or question, she made sure I felt heard and helped me navigate it with confidence. As a first time buyer, there were a lot of things that we didn’t understand or knew about but Amy made sure to explain everything during the entire process. At the time, my fiancé was still in California so there was a time difference, but knowing this, she was very patient and responsive to us, even if it was later in the evening. I also love that she would communicate with us before we even needed to ask her on the status of house. Amy is very knowledgeable on what she does and has a wide network to connect her clients to anything related to the house that needs to be done before closing. I have nothing but great things to say about Amy! At our first meeting, Amy was very clear about the process of selling our home. She provided us with the best information on the way to stage our home, and while it did require buying some items, it made a huge difference at closing. Amy works with a very talented photographer as well. Amy explained in detail what she believed would be the best asking price for our home when it came time to list our home. She showed us the comps on houses sold in our neighborhood and how our home compared to those previously sold. Additionally, she explained that the best time to go "live" would be on a Thursday with an open house on Saturday. Within hours of the house going live, realtors were already requesting to show the house. Amy did a fantastic job with the open house. Due to all of Amy's suggestions and her hard work, we were able to sell our home in 4 1/2 days and considerably over our asking price. While it was on the market, Amy kept us completely updated on all offers and advised us on all our options. After several offers were submitted, she encouraged us to close the bidding and what she considered was our best offer. Once we were under contract, Amy was very clear on what we needed to do including the inspections and other processes. She was a great negotiator on repair costs to meet inspection concerns. An Outstanding Realtor, AMY SPOCK!!!! We had already found a different realtor for the new house we were building across town. But suddenly, we kept receiving mail communications from Amy Spock, showing me how much our house was worth, revealing her fantastic sales record, and disseminating friendly neighborhood news. (Amy Spock lives on my street and saved and kept our dog when she got loose.) We really didn’t know her very well; but, we were so impressed with her communication outlays. We called and asked her to come over to talk about possibly being our realtor to sell our present house. She quickly responded; and, we met with her within a day! After spending several hours talking about the process of selling and how she markets the house, we realized she was a DYNAMO; and, we signed with her at that first meeting. When it was time to market the house, the sign ‘Coming Soon’ was immediately placed in our front yard. Then Amy sent out beautiful invitations asking the neighborhood to come to a private open house, serving lunch! Right after, our house was put on Zillow and the Realtors website. Amy has a fantastic photographer and videographer. The presentation of my house was unbelievably beautiful. (Amy had already let me spend an hour with a staging professional and we did exactly what she said!) Our house showed up on all the realtors’ websites one day and the next day was the open house weekend to the public. Amy had a snow cone truck in front of the house; and, it also served pastries. There was a grand showing of people that first weekend of open houses. Six days later we received our first offer. It was exactly what we asked for. The potential buyers offered the list price and said we could lease back until we could move into our new house!!! Amy stated more offers were coming; we said we’d like to work with the first offer since it was just right! Throughout the whole process, Amy was very attentive, instantly calling and returning calls to explain the process. Amy stated she would do anything we wanted to do. Next was an arduous time of inspections and repairs. Amy remained ever loyal to whatever we expressed. We have been through several closings. My wife and I initially just started to look at houses when introduced to Amy. Our original intentions were simply to look at a certain house but slowly realized that Amy was an excellent Agent so we stuck with her and we’re glad we did! There’s a huge advantage in having a full time agent but as busy as Amy is, we felt like we were one of her only few with the attention that was provided. She recommended we get pre-approved first and went beyond in hooking us up with a great lender in Jaime who she works seamlessly with. It allowed for such a smooth process. When giving us house tours, she was able to inspect things which may be a concern and provided her input on the property and location. She was skilled in gathering real estate comps of the surrounding area. Her experience in the field has allowed her to give us recommendations for related services such as Inspection, contractors, etc. As first time buyers, the process was hectic enough but dealing with the crazy North Texas housing market in 2022 would’ve been much more difficult without Amy. In fact, we closed within a couple months of house hunting. The house we ended up getting was actually a home that my wife and I inquired about and Amy found out the offer was due a few hours later that day. Amy was able to give us a house tour quickly on short notice and help us put in a competitive offer. In fact, the selling broker was very appreciative of the way her offer was written and structured, and along with the broker’s acquaintance with our lender, our offer was accepted. Right now, when people are waiving option periods and the such, Amy didn’t recommend it and we pushed that forward without issue. The closing was smooth and Amy helped negotiate slight contract changes with the sellers. We feel like we can reach out to her whenever even past closing.
